Local policies for effective and meaningful water governance

The seminar is the result of the collaboration between the OECD, the Milan Center for Food Law and Policy and Gruppo CAP as a preview to the International forum “Rules of Water, Rules for Life” (Milan 27- 28 September).

The initiative aims to stimulate discussion on governance and the management of water at a metropolitan level. The aim is to find some common ground to promote innovative local policies through the involvement of all parties, including governments and international organizations. The event, to take place on the 4th of May, will engage the participants in three specific themed sessions:

Water Safety Management: the role of local  inclusive collaboration

Water, environment and agriculture: synergies for health and food safety
